Support
Wordwren is built and supported by a solo developer, so support is direct — questions and bug reports go straight to the person who wrote the app.
Common questions
Frequently asked
Does it work offline?
Yes. All 57 dictionaries, your saved words, and your training history are stored on your device, so lookups, flashcards, and spelling practice all work in airplane mode. Wordwren only needs a connection to show the occasional ad or process a one-time purchase — never to look up a word or run a training session.
Is there a subscription?
No. Wordwren is free to download and use with banner ads. A single one-time in-app purchase removes ads and unlocks the full trainer for good — no monthly fee, no renewal, no trial that quietly turns into a subscription.
How does spaced repetition work?
Wordwren uses the Leitner system, a spaced-repetition method that sorts flashcards into boxes by how well you know them. Cards you get right move to a box you review less often; cards you get wrong drop back to a box you review sooner. Over time this concentrates your practice on the words you actually struggle with instead of re-drilling words you already know.
Can I add my own words?
Yes. Beyond saving words straight from the dictionary, you can add fully custom entries — words from a book, a class, or a conversation that aren't in any dictionary. Custom words train alongside dictionary words in the same flashcard and spelling sessions, and everything can be exported to a JSON file at any time.
Bugs
Report a bug
The fastest way to report a bug is from inside the app: go to Settings → Report a bug. That sends the report straight to the developer, with relevant context attached automatically so you don't have to describe your device and app version by hand.
No access to the app right now, or prefer email? Write to mail@borasoylu.com with what happened, what you expected instead, and your device and iOS version if you have them handy.

Feature requests and general feedback
Ideas, complaints, and "it would be great if..." messages are all welcome at mail@borasoylu.com. As a solo developer, replies usually take a few days rather than a few hours — every message does get read.
